Sultana carrot cake baked oats

These comforting baked oats are perfect for a cool winter morning.

YOU WILL NEED:
  • 1/4 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup milk of choice

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup grated carrot

  • 2 tbsp Australian sultanas

Allergens: Recipe may contain gluten, wheat, egg, milk and lactose.

METHOD:
STEP 1.
If using an oven, preheat to 180C. Combine oats, baking powder, milk, egg, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, carrot and vanilla and blend until smooth using a stick mixer or blender.
STEP 2.
Pre grease a ramekin with cooking spray or butter, pour in mixture and sprinkle sultanas evenly on top.
STEP 3.
Microwave for 3 minutes or bake in the oven for 14-15 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla cream cheese yoghurt or topping of choice.
Vanilla cream cheese yoghurt:
Combine 1/4 cup greek yoghurt, 1 tbsp cream cheese, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 2 pinches of cinnamon. Mix until smooth.
